DAY 1 : Siem Reap International Airport – Sunset at Bakheng Mountain
Welcome you at Siem Reap International Airport and journey to Siem Reap City. Check in hotel. Start your tour to Angkor archeology site walking to Bakheng Hill where is a popular tourist spot for sunset views of the much bigger temple of Angkor Wat, which lies amid jungle about 1.5 km to the southeast.
DAY 2 : Angkor Thom - Taprohm - Angkor Wat
Start your tour to the Angkor Thom City and bring you to the South Gate of Angkor Thomwhich is exist the stone carves of Gods and Asuras (Demons) decorated at the both side to this gate way, and decorate the face of Bodhisattva Avalokestisvara at its gateway where you can take a nice picture. Visit to Bayon Temple which is located in the central of Angkor Thom City where you can see 216 faces of Bodhisattva Avalokestisvara and its mercy. Bayon was built in the reign of Khmer great-king of Jayavarman 7 at the end of 12th century to dedicate to Buddhism. We can call another name is "The City of Smile" because of this temple are existed 216 smile faces of Bodhisattva Avalokestisvara. Then visit Baphoun the vast temple-mountain near by the center of Angkor Thom was built in the reign of king Udayadhidyavarman I in 11th century to dedicate to Hindu but in 16th century the king Chan Reachea was changed this temple to Buddhist temple and carved a huge recline Buddha statue on its shrine at the west site. Walking to the Elephants Terrace and Leper King Terrace, Journey to Chao Say Davada which built at the same time of Angkor Wat by king Suriyavarman II to dedicate to his mother and Thomanon for his mother.
Bring you to Ta Prohm temple or some tourist called the jungle temple which is overgrow by the Spong trees since it was abandoned at the end of Angkorian. Taprohm is a Buddhist temple was built by the great-king of Jayavarman 7 at the early 13th century. After explore the unique atmosphere of Taprohm, we continue to the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat which is the largest temple in Angkor site and believed to the world's largest religious building, Angkor Wat was built by King Suryavarman II (1113 - 1150) to dedicate to God Vishnu, this temple is the perfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and a source of pride and strength to all Khmers... DAY 3 :BanteaySrei - BanteaySamre – Tonle Sap Lake
Travel to the long distant to the pink sandstone temple of BanteaySrei, a medium that lends itself to the elaborative wall carving which are still observable today. The building themselves are miniature in scale, unusually so when measured by the standards of Angkorian construction. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourist, and have led to its being widely praised as a 'precious gem' or jewel of Khmer art'. Visit Banteay Samre temple, was built under the reign of king Suriyavarman II in 12th century. Samre is the name of an ethnic group of mountain people who inhabited at the region of Phnom Kulen. Travel to Tonle Sap lake, a natural giant lake in South-East Asia. Take a boat to explore the floating village with its way of life and culture. Travel back to the city visit Artisans Angkor, has developed from the ambitious belief that it is possible to revive ancient Khmer Arts & Crafts while improving the lives of thousands of people living in rural areas and shopping at the old market for your souvenirs.
DAY 4 : Kulen Mountain–PreahKral Monastery–Srah Domrei–Thousands Lingums–Natural Waterfall
Travel to Kulen Mountain which is consider as a holy mountain in Cambodia, Of special religious significance to Hindus and Buddhism who come to the mountain in pilgrimage. It also has a major symbolic importance for Cambodia as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. Trek along Phnom Kulen Plateau. Make our way to Preah Kral Monastery and continuing through the tall forest to Srah Damrei (Elephant pond) which features larger-than-life stone carvings of a selection of animals on two levels, surrounded by dense foliage. These have been shaped and fashioned out of the natural sandstone rock that Kulen is renowned for. The elephant, on the lower level, was 3.5 meters high and 4 meters long. Visit to Preah Ang Thom is an 8 meters tall statue of the of reclining Buddha reaching nirvana. The statue is carve into a huge sandstone boulder. Preah Ang Thom is the sacred and worshipping god for Phnom Kulen. Visit Thousand Lingas, is located on the mountain, along Phnom Kulen River, which is tributary of Siem Reap River and has a lot of figures of Yoni and Lingasspreading out at the bottom of the river. Take your time at thenatural waterfall which is two levels existing the first level is about 5 maters tall and the second is 20 maters tall. Then journey back to Siem Reap city town and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 5 : Siem Reap - Phnom Penh – Royal Palace - National Museum
After breakfast check out the hotel and departure from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh by private a/c transportation along 6 road, we spend 6 hours of journey. Start your tour to the splendor of Cambodian’s royal heritage by visiting Roya Palace, still the official residence of the king NorodomSihamuni , the adjacent Silver Pagoda, also known as the pagoda of the Emerald Buddha , and the elegant National Musuem, which contains a comprehensive collection of Khmer art. Over night at the hotel
DAY 6 :Choeung Ek Killing Field – Toul Sleng Genocide Museum – Independence Monument – Wat Phnom
Today we start our tour to Choeung Ek the site of a former orchard and mass grave of victims of the Khmer Rouge killed between 1975-1979. Than we travel back to the city town and journey toToul Sleng Genocide Museum the site is a former high school which was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S21) by the Khmer Rouge regime from its rise to power in 1975 to its fall in 1979. Then we visit to Independence Monument (VimeanAkareach), was build in 1958 for Cambodia’s independence from French in 1953. Then shopping at Central Market ‘PsaThmey’, a largest market constructed in 1937 in the shape of a dome with for arms branching out into vast hallways with countless stalls of goods. Visit to Wat Phnom , the birthplace of the capital , according to the legend the city began here when a woman name Pehn found four Buddha statues and build the temple to house them. Transfer to the airport.
